Our Story

In April 2019, Justin and Christa Henderson relocated their young family to northern Wyoming, with four children and one more on the way.  They came to work alongside a local church pastor in Lovell, Wyoming who had a vision to build a vocational welding school for young men from the nearby reservations. The welding school has been successfully operating since then and many young men have graduated and are now professional welders.

As time allowed, Justin would combined his love for all things outdoors, with native youth outreach on the reservations, taking them hiking, hunting and fishing.  In July 2023, Justin and Christa Henderson helped form Nations Alive, a 501c3 non-profit organization which exists to serve indigenous youth growing up on reservations in Wyoming and Montana by providing resources and opportunities for outdoor recreation, vocational training and spiritual growth.  Our goal is to share the love and hope of Jesus Christ with every one we meet.

The Henderson family enjoys living in rural northern Wyoming near the Montana state line, where they get to explore the endless outdoor opportunities of both states.
